On January 18, Nicole Elkon, U.S. Deputy Secretary of State, responsible for professional education and cultural exchange programs, visited the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia. Pēteris Kalniņš, a member of the Museum's Public History Department, introduced her to Latvian history as presented in the Museum's exposition.
