Each donation helps to ensure the Museum's activities, allowing it to function and provide information for people from all over the world.
The Museum is grateful to each donor and invites everyone to contribute.
For nearly three decades, ever since the exhibition about the Year of Terror was opened on 1 July 1993, the Museum has fulfilled its mission of remembering, commemorating and raising awareness of the conspiracy between the Communist Soviet Union and Nazi Germany and of the subsequent three occupations that dismantled the Latvian state, defiled its land, and brought the Latvian nation to the brink of extinction within half a century.
To celebrate the Museum's birthday, we are pleased to announce a new temporary exhibition: "Latvia outside Latvia. The Establishment and Activity of Latvians in Exile to Maintain Latvia's Independence". The exhibition opens on 1 July at 15.00 in the Museum’s Exhibition Hall.
You are welcome to attend the opening event, or to visit it later until November while viewing the main exhibition at the Museum.
