In Rememberance of Valentīna Zeile, Recipient of the Order of the Three Stars

The Museum of the Occupation of Latvia remembers the economist, Supreme Council Deputy who voted for the “Restoration of Independence of the Republic of Latvia” on the 4 May 1991, member of the board of the Bank of Latvia, recipient of the Order of the Three Stars, and golden alumni of the “Varavīksne” student corporation, Valentīna Zeile (1937-2018) who passed away recently.

On 21 November 2016, Valentīna Zeile life story became part of the collection of the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia in the form of video testimonials. Here you can watch an extract (in Latvian).
