European Regional Development Fund Project

In 2023, the project "Activities of the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia 2023" is being implemented to reduce consequences caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and the increase in energy prices, as well as to promote growth of the Museum’s professional capacity by stimulating the availability of cultural services, activation of the cultural environment and economic development. The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), REACT-EU, and the State budget.

The main activities will help to restore and strengthen the international cooperation of the Museum and enrich the Latvian cultural space with visits of internationally recognized cultural professionals to Riga and visits of Museum employees to various events outside of Latvia.

The total cost of the project is 102 480.98 EUR, of which ERDF funding is 81 590.21 EUR, and 20 890.77 EUR comes from the State budget. Project implementation term: 01.01.2023–31.12.2023. Project number: Nr. 13.1.4.0/23/I/011
