26 January - the 100th anniversary of the de jure recognition of the Republic of Latvia

On 26 January 1921 in Paris the Supreme Council of Allied Powers (Great Britain, France, Italy, Japan and Belgium) recognised the Republic of Latvia de jure.

Collection of the Museum of Occupation of Latvia contains testimony of thIS historical event - photo album of Jānis Tepfers, Adjutant of the first Minister of Foreign Affairs of Government of Latvia Z. A. Meierovics.

Jānis Tepfers (1898–1994) accompanied the Minister on foreign trips in the negotiations on the de jure recognition of the Republic of Latvia (1920–1921).
