Education

The Education Department of the museum has been operating since 1996, and has been an important centre for support to Latvian teachers and pupils. Everything that the Education Department offers to Latvian teachers and pupils is free of charge. We also offer a partial refund of travel expenses to school groups visiting the museum through the School Support Program (SAP). The Education Department also offers school lesson and tours for international groups, as well as other educational resources. 


Opening hours

School groups can be taken from 11:00 until 17:00.

Each school group workshop is approximately one hour.


Tickets

1-3 people 5€

4-10 people 1,50€/person.

11+ people 1,25€/person.

Group visits must be booked ahead of time


Groups

A maximum of between 15-20 pupils, of the same age, can participate in a museum workshop at one time.

The school teacher is responsible for preparing the pupils for the museum visit, and for the group's discipline.
