Happy New Year 2026!
The Year 2025 has come to an end. It is time to take the first steps into 2026!
We would like to thank our visitors, contributors, supporters, social media followers, colleagues, project partners, and everyone else who has been with us throughout this year. You are wonderful!
In 2025, the Museum’s main exhibition (Latviešu strēlnieku laukums 1) was visited by 83,717 visitors, which is 10.3% more than in 2024, while 55,829 visitors visited the KGB Building (Brīvības iela 61), representing an increase of 18.68% compared to the year before.
Altogether, our two buildings welcomed 139,546 visitors last year — that is 13.51% more than in 2024.
We are delighted that in 2025 our visitors once again honored us with the Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice award for both the Museum’s main exhibition and the KGB Building.
We would like to remind that Tripadvisor gives a Travelers’ Choice award to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travelers and are ranked within the top 10% of properties on Tripadvisor.
