In the conference “Modern Forms of Commemoration of Totalitarian Genocide Places” in Warsaw, 14 – 15 May 2013, the Occupation Museum of Latvia was represented by Gundega Michele. She presented an overview of the work of the Education Department of the Museum in the session “How to teach? – education in memorial places”. The conference was organised by the Platform of European Memory and Conscience who also exhibited their travelling exhibition about Nazi and Soviet totalitarian regimes in Europe in the 20th century.
