Each donation helps to ensure the Museum's activities, allowing it to function and provide information for people from all over the world.
The Museum is grateful to each donor and invites everyone to contribute.
The aim of the lesson: to understand the key events of 20th-century Latvian history: how Latvia lost its independence, how it experienced the Second World War and the occupations by two totalitarian powers – Nazi Germany and the USSR – and how it regained independence, became a free country, and a full member of international organizations.
The exhibition, featuring materials from the museum’s collection along with elements of light, sound, and design, presents the museum’s narrative, “A thread of light leads through the labyrinth of darkness.” Students will become acquainted with this story during a guided tour.
